R/V Point Sur - CTD
The Standard CTD instrumentation package aboard the R/V Point Sur consists of the following flow- through sensors in addition to the SBE 9+ CTD:
Dual SBE 3Plus Temperature, SBE 4C Conductivity Sensors, SBE 43 Dissolved Oxygen Sensor, Wet Labs CST 25cm path length Transmissometer, Wet Labs ECO Fluorometer, Tri-Tech Altimeter.
SeaBird compatible instruments can be easily interfaced to the current configuration. Instruments with internal logging/independent battery power can also be mounted to the CTD Rosette by removing Niskin bottles.
Water samples are obtained with an array of 12 (12L) Niskin bottles on the rosette.
