Triaxus User Guidelines specific to ALL Triaxus Cruises

30 day lead-time REQUIRED for ALL of the following:

• Notification of any additional to standard Triaxus configuration
• Additional sensors & associated components MUST be received by MLML.
• Triaxus vehicle request form must be completed.

General requirements during cruise:

• 2 MLML Technicians required
• 2 scientists required for Triaxus deployments/recoveries (on watch w/technician 6 hours on , 6 hours off )
• No other major “over-the-side" work to take place while Triaxus is in the water (e.g. CTD, XBT, Net Tows etc.).  Minimum water depth of Triaxus survey 40 meters
• Deck space required for Triaxus winch Triaxus typically secured on fantail under A-Frame
• User suppplied sensors require user supplied data logging computers
