Moss Landing Marine Labs

      The scientific party is responsible for all aspects of breaking down the laboratory in a timely manner.   The science party will clean the lab prior to leaving the ship.   The ship’s crew and marine technician will be responsible for moving heavy equipment from the ship to the dock and from the dock to the warehouse.   The science party is responsible for all labeling of gear to be shipped.   The science party is responsible for organizing all shipping from Moss Landing Marine Labs, Marine Operations to their home institution.   The ship’s Marine Technician will load all shipments onto trucks as needed.   It is the responsibility of the science party to make arrangements for disposing of all hazardous materials and radioactive waste.   The science party will not leave ANYTHING on the ship or at marine operations.
